All of our personal trainers are fully qualified and insured and are based at our Wantage studio, giving clients access to a dedicated training environment while benefiting from the same high standard of expertise, support, and motivation every session.

Dave

Dave Archer, Personal Trainer

Dave’s interest in training began at the age of 16, and after years of working as an engineer, he decided to make a career change and retrained as a personal trainer with Premier Training International, completing his Diploma in Fitness Instructing with Personal Training as his specialist area. He also gained additional qualifications in kettlebells, TRX suspension training, circuit training, and strength coaching with the UK Strength and Conditioning Association.

Dave then began working as a personal trainer and class instructor at Wantage Leisure Centre and later he moved to a local private gym, working with clients of all ages and abilities. This helped him expand his knowledge and provided valuable experience and confidence to start Endeavour Personal Training.

Harrie

Harrie Lou-Walsh, Personal Trainer

Harrie has been a qualified personal trainer since 2017 with specialism in Pre & Post-Natal Fitness. She also holds additional qualifications in Boxing, Spin and Circuit Training.

Harrie loves weightlifting and functional training – hybrid training is her favourite.

She has completed in numerous HYROX events and has even run a half marathon! If you’re looking to get stronger, move better or prepare for an event, Harrie can help!

Popsy

Popsy was born in Jersey and has been interested in sport her entire life. She trains daily in the gym and pool. She qualified as an Exercise to Music teacher in 1996 and went on to teach an average of 15 classes per week.

In 2005, she became Group Fitness Manager at Fitness First in Jersey, running the studio successfully until 2015, when she moved to the UK. After qualifying as a Level 3 Personal Trainer in 2013 with Future Fit Training, she began focusing more on personal training.

Popsy has worked for Endeavour Training since 2019 and really enjoys training clients in the private, fully equipped 1-to-1 studios. She is extremely passionate about fitness and healthy living, and loves passing on her knowledge and enthusiasm to her clients.

Fin (Finley)

Fin is a qualified Personal Trainer with a background in fitness coaching since 2021.

Over the past few years, Fin has progressed from Fitness Instructor to Gym Manager in 2024. In 2025, Fin became an Exercise Referral Specialist, enabling him to support clients with both performance goals and health-related conditions.

Fin focuses on practical, sustainable training that builds strength, confidence, and long-term results – whether someone is new to the gym or looking to push their performance further.

Matt

Matt has been involved in the fitness industry since he was 16, when he started working in a gym in Grove. That was the first time Matt and Dave worked together – around 2006.

Since then, Matt has gained a Sports Science degree and worked across group fitness and professional sport. He also spent time in New Zealand, where he briefly taught prospective students training to become personal trainers. While there, he developed a strong passion for group fitness and worked across four studios, specialising in high-intensity cardio and strength training.

Since returning to the UK in 2025, Matt has settled back into one-to-one personal training sessions, working alongside Dave and his team at Endeavour Training.
